For a private investor, we created a modern concrete feature in a cubist style by the pool of a family house in Sulice near Prague, based on a design by academic sculptor Jan Cileček. The structure was made using sprayed concrete technology, the same method we use for our artificial rockwork. The concrete sculpture is complemented by a linear waterfall, which creates a full water curtain across its entire width. Together with the house and garden, it forms a cohesive minimalist composition. One of the investor’s requirements was to harmonise the texture and colour of the feature with the granite paving around the pool. The structure also helps screen the pool area from views from neighbouring houses.
